Inner Child

What is art but simple 'playtime'. I never approached art with that mindset before. Even from a young age I drew pictures to please everyone but myself. I wanted to be perfect in portraiture, poises in character design, because I wanted to be included. I've grown since then, and my art style has changed so much. Where I was once rigid and strict in subject matter, now I draw whatever my inner child wants to create. And lately that's been drawing fairies and mermaids in a fun cartoon/anime style I've made all my own.
